A little bit about me.
I’m Gerard Torres and I’m a Director, Cinematographer, Screenwriter & Editor in Barcelona.
I was born in Reus (Tarragona, Spain).
I studied audiovisual production at IES Pere Martell (Tarragona) between the years 2013-2015. During these years I travelled to countries like Lithuania, Switzerland and Holland, in order to develop courses and collaborations as a student. Since then I’ve done several projects such as short films, documentaries, musical video, spots, promotional and sport videos, etc.
I’m currently Filmmaker on the production company Bysout Films, working mainly on developing/focused mainly on making music video clips, documentaries and promotional videos. And I'm a camera of Dorna on WSBK since 2024-2025, and I also work with the company Luz De Flash as video editor since 2015, and occasionally as a cinematographer and editor sometimes at Millennials Films. And I also work for different production companies.
My passion for the audiovisual world comes from my adolescence; I remember watching films with different eyes than the other people, focusing my attention on analyzing mainly the photography and the acting performance.
About few years ago, I started creating my first “proper” videos practicing at my city’s skate park, with borrowed cameras, filming my friends that, like me, were BMX riders. I thank all people who have valued and supported my work since then, as it was back then when I decided that was the path I wanted to follow.
